That cements DB as my "overrated’ player of this year’s draft.

So my early take, if (when) we end up at #3, I think Young will be gone. I think he and Burrow are a solid 1 and 2 overall. So of course, we’re in a crap spot. Unless… we can secure the almighty, often mentioned, rarely executed trade down. Say, the Panthers, Jets or Broncos want that QB. Pick up an extra 2nd and 3rd, probably an extra 1st next year. Yeah I know, unlikely.
But here’s where I make some eyeballs really roll: I got a thing, where there’s usually one WR I fall in everlasting love with. Usually a fast guy with oodles of YAC potential.
Ceedee Lamb. He’s my guy.
With that said, I would not be disappointed with the Georgia LT. I’m hesitant on the Auburn DT. Don’t love him, but I could be persuaded.

Still holding onto grunts Brown or Thomas. Of course, this is all subject to change. Go for best RB available in second. Not liking a WR or DB until third round of later.

Would also approve of trade down for high extra pick(s).

Grant Delpit way down at 23. Wow.

…and Dobbins at 46.

yeah I was all for a trade up from our 2nd for Delpit until I saw Dobbins at 46

That seems about right to me, maybe even a little high. I think he is being a bit overrated right now due to his stats. I like Taylor way better, and RBs are not high value picks in general.

Both are really good IMO. The problem for them is depending on decelerations there may be so much depth that teams wait on RB. If you can get one of Najee Harris, Cam Akers or Chubba Hubbard late 3rd/early 4th do you really want to spend a top 40 pick on a RB?

I’d do it, I’m just not sure whether teams would. Ultimately it depends to an extent on how useful they are in the passing game. I think in round 1 teams expect to be able to split them out and use them for more than just the screen game
