Question on tickets for Sunday

Hi - first post. I’m taking my family up to the Lions game Sunday. Looking for suggestions of tickets. I was looking online and they have some decent deals for lower level endzone. In your experience will these reduce in price as gameday nears? I don’t know if the Packers traditionally bring a large crowd to Detroit. This will be our first Lions game. We are huge David Blough fans from his days at Purdue, I realize not many of you are probably fans of his, but this might be the last time we get to see him start an NFL game. Anyways, thank you in advance for any advice on purchasing tickets. There are some $100 tickets lower level endzone online. I don’t know if they are going to increase or decrease in price prior to Sunday or if things will be mostly flat. Just trying to get a gauge if I should go ahead and buy the tickets now or wait until Saturday.

Typically packer fans travel really well, especially to Detroit. Also, with the packers playing for a number 1 seed, I expect a lot more packer fans as lions fans are basically boycotting. I am sure you will be able to find a decent deal on seats, 100 dollars for lower level seats is basically face value, or less depending on location

As was said, the Packers are one of the best traveling fanbases in the NFL…particularly since there are Packers in every NFL city so its not much of a “travel” for them. If you have found good tickets now, jump on them. The Packers will be playing for home field advantage.

I suggest you buy my front row tickets in the Club in Sec 233 for $100 each that have a face value of over $250 each. Include access to the Private Club for short bathroom lines and bar lines and some pretty good food options not available to the general public

I was going to go just because their paid for and we always enjoy a weekend at the MGM Casino with or without the Lions game… but if a Lions fan from here wants them I will sell them for $100 each
Sec 233 Row 1 seats 13 & 14 on the 20 Yard Line.

I can take Paypal or send you an invoice that you can pay with Mastercard/VISA

Best Deal you will ever get for $100 per ticket for a Lions game

I just made him the best deal he will ever get for $100 each

I won’t sell them to a Packers fan at full price…I would drive the 3 hours each way and pay parking before I would do that

I saw that. There’s no way on earth he’s going to find a better deal than that.

Sorry man, I would but I need 5 total tickets! Thank you for the kind offer, that is a really great deal. I’m excited to see the Ford Field. We went to the Little Ceasers Arena 2 years ago when Purdue played there for the NCAA first weekend and it was fantastic venue. Had coney dogs at the 2 places downtown Detroit and everything. Really enjoyed our time up there. We’ve also done the Detroit Grand Prix the past 3 years too.

No problem…I didn’t realize you needed 5

Oh Well…MGM here we come

Well unless somebody else here wants them. No big deal either way. We have hotel RSVPs in place. It is my birthday weekend and we will be celebrating that

I wouldn’t expect the prices to drop. Especially if your looking for 5 tickets. I suspect a lot of season ticket holders will put their seats up for sale but rarely will their be 5 together.

Buy the tickets. There’s no bad seats in the house but you will find the lower two levels are more enjoyable.

Jaded wow what a great deal. I have a spare seat for the GB game myself.

HI guys, thanks for all your help. One last question for an out of towner not super familiar with Detroit. Would you recommend purchasing the prepaid parking passes I’m seeing available online as well, or just find some place to park on Sunday on my own?

You can sometimes get a better deal on parkwhiz or similar apps… I usually end up parking near bookies and drinking there until I head to the stadium. They have a bus that makes round trips that you can take if you don’t feel like making the 15min walk

If you want to park in a certain lot, it wouldn’t hurt to buy ahead. If you want to tailgate, then you can find a lot that will most likely charge you like $40 to park. Otherwise, you can park in one of the FF lots for like $50 bucks. I am pretty sure almost every lot is a first come, first served so the best spots are for people who get there early. If you don’t mind a longer walk or Uber ride, park at Motor City or MGM casino, they have free parking last I was there.

If you do not want to walk far than by the ticket but it’s not hard to find better parking.

Personally I never buy it
