I got one as a throw-in Christmas present.

This thing is incredible!

But does anyone have any experience with the mopping versions? We have hardwood in the apartment and would love to run one after the scrubber/vacuum.

Throw in Christmas present? You live a lavish life depending on what roomba model you got. My old boss has 2 dogs and loves his (he has the shark version). I thought about getting one, but I wanted the one that self empties… $800 is a bit too pricey for me when I can push a vacuum around for 5 minutes and be done.

I’ve never heard any reviews on the mopping version, good or bad :man_shrugging:t2:

It was from the in-laws, basically a “hey, grandma & grandpa won this from a casino and don’t want it. Do you?”

It definitely does the trick for our tiny ass apartment, though self emptying does sound intriguing.

I hope you don’t have dogs!

Look up Roomba vs dog poop … lol

Nope, luckily the cats know where to go lol

That story though … yikers!

Yeah I have both…the Roomba and the Braava M series …and almost 3000 sq feet

Both are excellent …My only issue with the Braava is it’s shape is square it has gotten stuck between dining room table base and end chair .

Really don’t understand why they did not make it round like the roomba …but regardless great stuff

I noticed the shape change too. Maybe its just easier/cheaper to make the scrub pads square? But yeah, now that I think about it, it’s a strange decision.

Good to know it actually works though. I really think it would go a long way, so maybe I’ll keep an eye out for a used model. Thanks!

Mine after about 3-4 months of use started developing a mind of its own. The tech isn’t quite there yet for long term unfortunately. I work in tech too so I know it when I see it :frowning:
